Primary Lymphedema is becoming more prevalent, many people are being diagnosed with Lymphedema that have had a problem with edema as a teen and it gets worse as they age. It is important to learn how diet and supplements can help Lymphedema. Lymphedema patients are taught how to self-drain their affected limb. Including a more alkaline diet and supplements that promote lymph flow is an important missed part to helping control Lymphedema. What we eat can either help or hinder lymph flow. Taking a few supplements like systemic enzymes to help break down cellular waste can also play a role in improving how well you can maintain your Lymphedema.
